My second
book is an attempt
to remove the mystery surrounding the vast number of Catalog objects in
ToolBook. This
book will detail the purpose and use of each of the catalog objects so
that you have a full grasp of what ToolBook's catalog has to offer you.
Use
the sidebar links to learn more about what this book has to offer you.
- The ToolBook Catalog
Objects - Fully Explained book is a 400 page reference manual covering
every object in the ToolBook catalog.
- Each object in the
catalog has an individual entry in this book.
- At the top of each entry
you will find the name of the object, a picture of the icon shown by
the catalog, the a picture of the actual object that appears when you add the object to
your page, and finally the Help text that the catalog would display
for the object as a ToolTip.
- Below all that, I go into detail regarding what the catalog object is for, how the object may
be similar to other catalog objects, and then a detailed description
of the settings you can apply to each object.
- Where appropriate, I
also provide sample Actions Editor and OpenScript code to show how the
object may be used.
NOTE
This book used to be available in printed format, but it no longer is.
It is now only in PDF format and available for TB 8.5/8.6 and
2004....and is free to anyone who wants a copy. Will there be a ToolBook
9 version someday? Perhaps.
