PROGRESS BAR WIDGET FOR TOOLBOOK

Ever wished you had a progress bar to use in your ToolBook project? Something to show the user while you grind through the processing of some data. An hour glass is normally useful for short delays but a longer delay is better served by using a progress bar.

I created this Progress Bar Widget several years back and even made a small enhancement a few weeks ago in preparation for putting it on this web site for all of you to use. It is driven entirely by OpenScript so you will not be able to get this working in a DHTML exported project.

The download for this widget includes a sample book explaining what it is and how to use it, along with a .WBK file that you can import as a new Progress Bar category in your Catalog. 

In order to use these new Progress Bars, all you need to do is use the IMPORT button in the Customize Catalog dialog to import this new category into your catalog. Since operating the Progress Bar will require the use of OpenScript, Assistant users will not be able to utilize this new widget.
