WHAT UI FEATURES ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN DHTML MODE?

When you toggle from Native mode to DHTML mode, ToolBook automatically enables or disables certain features of the Authoring engine. This is done so that you don't accidentally use a feature that is not supported in DHTML.

What exactly is disabled when in DHTML Mode? The following is a thorough list but likely not a 100% complete list:

FILE MENU:

• AutoPackage

• Save as EXE

INSERT MENU:

• OLE Object

• New Viewer

OBJECT MENU

• Page Properties - Image Storage

• Background Properties - Image Storage

• Book Properties - Bookmarking

• Book Properties - Glossary (option to recognize clicking of ANY text)

• Book Properties - Keep Menubar

• Lesson Properties - Native Tab options disabled

• Hyperlink Dialog - In Windows combobox

• Hyperlinking Dialog - Use Hour Glass

• Viewers - option disabled if MainWindow is the only viewer in book

TEXT MENU

• Character - Strikeout

• Paragraph - Tabs Section

DRAW MENU

• Draw Direct

QUESTION OBJECT EDITORS

• Scoring - Report Highest Score as 1

• Scoring - Report Lowest Score as 0

• Feedback - Send Message option
