WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 9 ISSUES IN TOOLBOOK

With the release of the Windows Media Player version 9.0 on January 4th of 2003, several problems were immediately seen in ToolBook while using this player.

PROBLEM #1
After exporting to DHTML, the UMP will not play the assigned [WMP-type] media file if your files are not placed on a Web Server. No errors occur but files will not play.

PROBLEM #2
Within Toolbook, Windows Media file types will not play in the Universal Media Player after installing Windows Media Player 9.
- Fixed for versions 8.1, 8.5 as well incorporated into the release of ToolBook 8.6  See Details

PROBLEM #3
After exporting to DHTML, trying to play a WAV file using an ICON 1 - ICON 6 media player will result in an error 546 being displayed.
