When typing text into a field, ToolBook's default behavior is to insert the newly typed characters before the character you started typing at. Programs such as Microsoft Word have the ability to change into an Overtype 'mode' so that as you type, the newly typed character replaces the character directly to the right. ToolBook does not have such
an Overtype ability built in, but you can emulate this behavior by putting
this code into the script of your field. |
